SANDRA McLAUGHLIN
Sandra has appeared on Broadway, off-Broadway, in Regional Theatre and on television. After graduating from the North Carolina School of the Arts and after a year of theatre study in London, her first job in New York was on Broadway in Royal Family. She was a co-founder and member of the American Theatre Alliance in New York and has performed Off-Broadway at the Perry Street Theatre in Gorky's Philistines, New York premiere of Marivaux's Infidelities at the 45th Street Theatre, premiere of David Ive's Seven Menus at the Manhattan Punchline, to name a few. Sandra was a member of the 29th street Project in New York and worked many seasons with the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Company. She has also appeared in commercials and on soap operas. Since moving to New Jersey fifteen years ago, she has worked with various companies as an actress, director and teacher. Most recently, Sandra has directed spoken books for Silkbound Books out of London (directing Lynn Redgrave reading Northanger Abbey) and is the Casting Director for Shamrock Communications here in New Jersey. She is the Artistic Director of "Shakespeare by the Sea" performing in the part in Spring Lake and Asbury Park, and celebrating their sixth season this July with Comedy of Errors. |
